Welcome to The Longboat Project

A Captain’s Journey Through Chaos, Calm, and Change

I’m not here to fix you.
I’m not here to sell you perfection.
I’m here to row beside you… Through fog, storms, and all.

The Longboat Self is a metaphor I built when everything else broke.
A way to understand myself and others through the image of a longboat on a river.
Simple. Visual. Human. Real.

It helped me survive.
It helped me lead.
And now, it’s starting to help others.

This project is part memoir, part model, part movement.
It’s informed by lived experience and anchored in clinical and psychological literature.

Here you’ll find:

🚣‍♂️ A model for navigating emotional seas
📖 Snippets and confessions from my upcoming book The Longboat Self: A Captains Confessions
🧭 Coaching: Informed by lived experience, not corporate scripts
⚓ Reflections, metaphors, and occasional madness

This is only the start of the voyage. The boat isn’t finished. But the current is real.

If something in you recognizes something in this: Good.
Welcome aboard.

Let’s row.
